What Is Affirmative Prayer?

Affirmative prayer is a powerful spiritual practice used in Unity to align with the presence of God and claim truth rather than plead for change. Unlike traditional prayer that asks or begs, affirmative prayer recognizes the divine within and affirms positive outcomes as already unfolding. Rooted in faith and spiritual law, it is a process of consciously connecting with the indwelling presence of God to express healing, guidance, peace, and abundance.

At Unity Village Chapel, our Prayer Chaplains are trained spiritual companions who lovingly support our community through the power of affirmative prayer.

Unity Village Prayer Chaplains

Each Prayer Chaplain completes over 40 hours of training in sacred listening, holding spiritual space, and praying with others. They are dedicated to helping you feel seen, supported, and spiritually empowered.

How Our Chaplains Support You

🙏 Monthly Prayer Calls
Chaplains reach out to UVC members with monthly check-in calls to offer prayer and presence.
📱 Personal Prayer Support
Available for one-on-one prayer via phone, text, or in person—just contact the Chapel office to request a call.
📲 Prayer Wall in our App
Submit your prayer request through the Unity Village Chapel app. Chaplains pray with all requests posted and invite you to hold others in prayer too.
Spiritual Counseling + Coaching
Our trained spiritual counselors are dedicated to assisting each person in bringing forth into expression the unlimited potential that exists within them.

Spiritual counseling and coaching at Unity Village Chapel is based upon a foundation of consciousness, prayer and commitment to the universal principles found in Unity’s teachings. We are committed to creating a safe and loving environment to foster and nurture personal, emotional and spiritual growth, and development of those we serve.​

Please note there is no set fee and a love offering is received for spiritual counseling.  Love offerings generally range from $45-$100 per session.

UVC provides spiritual guidance, not licensed or professional counseling.  For assistance with Mental Illness issues, please visit the National Institute of Mental Health website for resources and immediate assistance.

Known for her heart-centered approach and inclusive spirit, Erin embraces diverse spiritual paths and honors the uniqueness of each individual’s journey. Her work emphasizes inner wisdom, self-empowerment, and the healing power of connection.

She offers spiritual counseling, officiates life ceremonies, and leads retreats, classes, and sacred services that support holistic well-being and soul expansion.
